Why won't my golf cart start in cold or damp ...

why won't my golf cart start in cold or damp weather. I use a blow dryer to warm it up and it will start.  What am I heating that let's it start?  I blow the hot air all around under the seat, but I don't know what I am drying out.  Does anyone know what is wrong?

It could be several things.  The spark plug wires may be old and porous, absorbing water and losing conductivity.  The distributor cap may leak or be cracked.

If it's a diesel, you're warming the fuel and the cylinders because your glow plug isn't working.
