How quickly can human nature sink below the level of the beast. Who made you to differ? What do you have that you have not received? Salvation is the gift of God! Faith is the gift of God!  You,  have nothing to glory of — nothing! You can't break the heart — the Holy Spirit must do that; You can't convict men of sin — God has to do that,You can't give repentance and faith — God must do that; You  can't reveal Christ — this, too, is the Spirit's work. If Your words are the only voice they hear, they will just have to perish — They've  got to hear him speak from heaven.


 Any man who is not conscious of his own guilt can't preach the gospel because he doesn't know the gospel. And you can't tell what you don't know any more than you can come back from where you haven't been. A man who preaches the gospel is conscious of his own guilt. The man who was led of the Spirit to write this Scripture said, "I am not worthy to be an apostle, I see no worthiness in myself." Later on he said, "I am less than the least of all the saints" — pick out the least saint in God?s house and I am less than the least saint. Then later on he said, "Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief." The apostle Paul said that the man who really knows God feels that way. When somebody asked, "Paul, who is the chief of sinners?" He replied, "I am."....."I'm only a sinner, saved by grace."

 A man who really knows God never graduates above that statement right there — "I'm only a sinner saved by grace." He may grow in grace, grow in talent, grow in gifts and grow in knowledge, but he's still only a sinner saved by grace. We have nothing to glory of, we're just using borrowed gifts. In 1 Corinthians 4, and l verse 7 —

 

"Who maketh thee to differ?" Are you able to preach — who gave you the power? Do you have a little more than somebody else — who gave it to you? Do you have more talents than the next fellow — who made you to differ? "What hast thou that thou didst not receive? Now if you received it, why dost thou glory?" Why do you glory in your beauty? — God gave it to you. Why do you glory in your strength?

 

Without God you would not have it. Why do you glory in your wealth? God gave it to you. Why do you glory in your talent, in your singing ability? Why do you glory in your ability to play an instrument?

You couldn't play the radio without God's grace — you'd be a simpleminded imbecile. Who made you to differ? What do you have that God didn't give you? If you are walking around with something, something somebody gave you, why are you bragging as if you have it of your own natural ability?

 

Why do you think that you are better than anybody else? Only God's merciful grace; God's gracious grace enables you to be anything but a stuttering, stammering moron.

Kid, there is no hope trying to reason with Physicalist: he is clearly a satanist, here to recruit for the cause of violence and evil.  All atheists share that folly and angry pride.

 

The Lord has no use for apostates: they walked out on God and did so of their willful hatred.  It is one thing for a man to have been driven from a Church because of satanic/atheist persecution -- that is why hell exists for satanists and atheists -- but the man so persecuted gets the crown in Heaven that he has earned.

 

If Paul were not the chief among sinners, I surely would be.  It is at once humbling and ingratiating to know that even tough I am a sinner, God's Grace is more than sufficient to cover my sins.

 

No atheist can understand such things: all they know is mindless hate and the resultant call to violence.  That is why it is correct to note that atheists, satanists, and reprobates, all share the same characteristics that determine their eternal destiny.  If nothing else sums up the full true character of Physicalist/Tony, this well established definition does so with admirable clarity.

There are many others out there, of the like mind, who would be happy to read your jabberwocky and perversion of the Holy Bible, whereby if you don't like something Jesus told us within His Word, you then revert to satanic interpretations and lies.  The true Christian will not stand for this!  We follow all of the Christian Bible (KJV 1611), ok?!  No questions, no satanic interpretations, no compromises!

REMEMBER THIS: When the Lord Jesus walked the face of the earth and taught about salvation, he pointed people to himself, as the one who is to be trusted in (and followed) for salvation. But that is not all—the Father and the Holy Spirit also pointed people to Jesus. If all that isn’t convincing enough, the message of John the Baptist and the early Christians also pointed people to Jesus alone for salvation. Again:

In Matthew 7:15-20 Jesus warned about the danger of false prophets that lead many astray. They are dangerous because if you believe their lies, they will change you internally. They can affect who you really are and your eternal destiny. They come and deceive by presenting falsehood as the truth. Jesus gave warning about them because they do not appear as the wolves they really are, but as friends of the flock. They come wearing sheep's clothing, the garments of the shepherd. They appear as those who come to feed & lead the flock, but instead, they feed off the flock and exploit it for their own gain (2 Peter 2:1).  .


Jesus warned us to beware of false prophets and He told us how to recognize them. Examine their fruit. "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.


We must keep in mind that throughout the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus has been presenting the nature of true righteousness as compared with the self righteousness seen in the Scribes and Pharisees of that time.

 

The fruit Jesus is talking about is the fruit of righteousness as compared to the fruit of self righteousness.


Jesus presented the characteristics that would be manifested in the lives of those who are truly righteous when He gave the Beatitudes. It is the righteous, and only the righteous that can display all of these character qualities. The self righteous are not marked by these qualities. The righteous also approaches the commandments of God with the desire to obey them from the heart. They keep both the letter and the spirit of God's laws.

 

The self-righteous approach God's commands like defense attorneys looking for the loopholes. The truly righteous do all their religious activities to gain a closer relationship with God and to give Him glory. The self righteous are more concerned that other people think them pious.


What God really thinks of them is of little importance. No wonder Jesus said to the Pharisees in Luke 17:15, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God." .

 

The hypocrisy of self righteousness is seen in its condemnation of others because they do not do what they do, yet their own sin is greater. When the righteous see a brother stumble in sin, they examine themselves first, then go in humility, and speaking the truth in love, they help bear the burden of that sin. The righteous are compassionate and get involved to help.

The self righteous see a brother in sin and stand aloof in pride and condemnation.
