Who goes to Hell? -- a sermon for true Christian review

Dearest Brother Tony,

It is always a pleasure to read your questions and short sermons.  In this wicked "politically correct" world, it is nice to encounter Christians who are not afraid to speak up straight from the Bible.  Too many people today feel that they can do what they want and how they want to do it. Many believe that what they do here on Earth has no factor on what happens when they get Judged by God. So let's see what the word of God says about who will not enter into his Glory!!

Revelation 21:8 and 22:15 describe those who are not allowed to enter heaven as follows: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death..For without [outside of heaven] are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. This description, combined with additional sins found in Romans 1:24-32 and 1 Corinthians 6:9,10, provides a comprehensive picture of those who are damned for all eternity:

The fearful -- those who do not accept Christ to escape being ridiculed (Matthew 10:32).

Unbelievers -- those who do not believe and receive the Lord Jesus Christ (John 8:24).

The abominable -- those who engage in wicked practices (Titus 1:11).

Murderers.

Whoremongers -- those who engage in fornication or consort with prostitutes (Ephesians 5:5-8).

Sorcerers -- those who practice witchcraft, demonism, and follow after the occult. This word comes from the Greek root word, pharmakeia, and means "enchantment with drugs." Thus, drug users, addicts, and even pushers (the Greek pharmakeus) are included.

Idolaters -- those who worship or reverence anyone or anything other than the living and true God.  This would include those like Catholics.

Liars (John 8:44).

Dogs -- false professors (2 Peter 2:22).

Homosexuals (Romans 1:18-28) -- remember, these people are NOT Christians!

The unrighteous -- those who trust in self, works, a false religious system, or mere "religion" for salvation (Titus 3:5).

Fornicators -- those who engage in premarital and extramarital sex (1 Corinthians 6:9).

The wicked -- those who disregard all morality and moral standards. The covetous -- those who wish all things for themselves, especially that which belongs to others (Ephesians 5:5-8).

The malicious -- those who willfully seek to destroy the person and property of others (James 1:26).

The envious -- those resentful of others.

Debaters -- those who would rather argue with God than accept His truth.

Deceivers -- those who purposely mislead or betray others (2 Timothy 3:13).

Maligners -- those who speak evil of, defame, or slander others (James 3:2,3).

Whisperers -- gossips! Backbiters -- those who constantly find fault with others and speak maliciously about them. Haters of God.

Despisers -- those filled with contempt toward God and man.

The proud -- those possessing an excessively high opinion of themselves.

Boasters -- those who exalt self.

Inventors of evil things.

The disobedient to parents.

Those without understanding (resulting from unconcern or rejection of the truth).

Covenant breakers -- those who do not keep their word. (The Antichrist is the supreme example of this type of person.)

Those whose sections are contrary to the laws of God and nature.

The implacable -- those exhibiting extreme stubbornness to the point of refusing to yield to the convicting power of the Holy Spirit (Proverbs 1:24-28; Acts 7:51,52).

Adulterers -- those who practice extramarital sex.

The effeminate -- those generally younger persons in the process of becoming hardened homosexuals or "sodomites."

Abusers of themselves with mankind -- hardened homosexuals (Genesis 19:5).

Thieves.

Drunkards -- those given to and overcome by alcohol (Proverbs 20:1, 23:20,21; Luke 21:34; Romans 13:13; 1 Corinthians 6:10; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:18).

Revilers -- those who use abusive or contemptuous language.

Extortioners -- those who exact money from, or take advantage of, others through violence, threats, or misuse of authority.

Persons who have practiced these sins then -- and who are still contaminated by the guilt of them because they have not come to Christ -- will be the ones who stand before the Great White Throne as the books [are] opened: and another book [is) opened, which is the book of life: and the dead [are] judged out of those things which [are] written in the books, according to their works (Revelation 20:12). I would like to point out one additional verse of Scripture -- 1 Corinthians 6:11 -- which states: And such WERE some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Oh, the transforming power of the blood of Christ which cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7)! Every man is a sinner, guilty before God (see Romans 3:23). Yet God has given every man (see Titus 2:11) a blessed way of escaping the condemnation due him: He that believeth on [Christ] is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18).

Ask the heathen, have YOU believed? WILL you believe -- right now?

How quickly can human nature sink below the level of the beast. Who made you to differ? What do you have that you have not received? Salvation is the gift of God! Faith is the gift of God!  You,  have nothing to glory of — nothing! You can't break the heart — the Holy Spirit must do that; You can't convict men of sin — God has to do that,You can't give repentance and faith — God must do that; You  can't reveal Christ — this, too, is the Spirit's work. If Your words are the only voice they hear, they will just have to perish — They've  got to hear him speak from heaven.


 Any man who is not conscious of his own guilt can't preach the gospel because he doesn't know the gospel. And you can't tell what you don't know any more than you can come back from where you haven't been. A man who preaches the gospel is conscious of his own guilt. The man who was led of the Spirit to write this Scripture said, "I am not worthy to be an apostle, I see no worthiness in myself." Later on he said, "I am less than the least of all the saints" — pick out the least saint in God?s house and I am less than the least saint. Then later on he said, "Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief." The apostle Paul said that the man who really knows God feels that way. When somebody asked, "Paul, who is the chief of sinners?" He replied, "I am."....."I'm only a sinner, saved by grace."

 A man who really knows God never graduates above that statement right there — "I'm only a sinner saved by grace." He may grow in grace, grow in talent, grow in gifts and grow in knowledge, but he's still only a sinner saved by grace. We have nothing to glory of, we're just using borrowed gifts. In 1 Corinthians 4, and l verse 7 —

"Who maketh thee to differ?" Are you able to preach — who gave you the power? Do you have a little more than somebody else — who gave it to you? Do you have more talents than the next fellow — who made you to differ? "What hast thou that thou didst not receive? Now if you received it, why dost thou glory?" Why do you glory in your beauty? — God gave it to you. Why do you glory in your strength?

Without God you would not have it. Why do you glory in your wealth? God gave it to you. Why do you glory in your talent, in your singing ability? Why do you glory in your ability to play an instrument?

You couldn't play the radio without God's grace — you'd be a simpleminded imbecile. Who made you to differ? What do you have that God didn't give you? If you are walking around with something, something somebody gave you, why are you bragging as if you have it of your own natural ability?

Why do you think that you are better than anybody else? Only God's merciful grace; God's gracious grace enables you to be anything but a stuttering, stammering moron.

You and those like you are why we are here.  To watch as you all weed yourself's out.  God is not the bible, God is the Universe and beyond.  You as most have been miss lead by others.  If you do not look at you, "YOU" will not be going any where with GOD.  I would love to here back, would you?
