You are going to get way too many answers here. Most demoninations know that only they have a lock on the truth.

My understanding of NT writings is that Jesus claimed to be GOD. I see no evidence to support that a major focus of His preaching was to explain how He was the second person of the Trinity. There is at least one account in one of the Gospels where Jesus asks why He is about to be stoned. He is told it is because of His blasphemous claims of being the Son of GOD, which is no more or less than a claim to be GOD.

I see little reason to try and examine the tenets of soteriology here. Suffice it to say that all religions have their own take on the issue. Even within Christians denominations, there is no unanimity.

Keep close to Nature's heart... climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.

The core message of God's Son Jesus was simply God's kingdom and what it will do for mankind. Ex. - Matthew 8:2, 3 highlights Jesus curing a man with leprosy, while Jesus was on earth. A glimpse of what Jesus will do for us in the near future. And, Jesus taught his followers to also preach/teach about God's kingdom (government) where Jesus is right now alongside his Father - Acts 2:29-35.

Good question.  The problem Jesus real message was combobulated by the disciples them self.  They saw fit to compromise with the Jews.  The leaders to be precise, without Jesus there was no guidance, they went their separate ways, some crossed paths but they wrote their own way to Jesus.  So if we look at the bible for what it is.  You will find Jesus true meaning in his words.  The problem is people are lead to see what the holder of the bible wants you to see.  The bible is a guide for the followers, and not the individuals.  So It is the lack of individual power perceived in the bible, that is the course of the lack of "you" in the bible.  You tell me if you feel God is happy with the bible.  It is in no way the final word of God, YOU ARE!!!!!!

Now there is some truth in everything, But it is you who is most important to God.  Why would Jesus give up his life if it was not for you.  Now why dose the bible not promote the individual you if the bible is to save you?  Why dose the bible demand you to follow?  God is for you, each and everyone of you.  You will find the answers in you.  God put his church in you.  You can find you in the bible only in the words of Jesus.  It is your choice weather to listen or to beat your own drum.  Either is OK in the eyes of God, you are here to show who you are.  GOD WANTS TO KNOW YOU, HE ALREADY KNOWS THE ONES AROUND YOU.  YOU WILL STAND BEFORE GOD ALONE.  WE KNOW WHO ELSE, THANKS FOR THE HELP!  Most important message is; do onto others, as you would have them do onto you.
