Although you seem to be asking religious questions in a tongue-in-cheek manner, I will take the opportunity to provide a serious answer (sorry bout that, it's my nature ;). However, I would also like to answer, from a Christian perspective, where God is NOT.

1. God is Everywhere (Omnipresent)

The most obvious answer is that God, who is an invisible spirit, does not actually exist in one place, but in all places. As the Apostle Paul wrote:

Ephesians 4:6
There is...one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

2. But wasn't God in the Ark of the Covenant, and the Jewish Temple?

Well, not exactly. In the Old Testament, it was actually God's *presence* that showed up in those places, according to Jewish Scripture. But it's not like God was trapped in there, living there like a genie in a bottle.

3. God's power and divine attributes may be seen in nature, but they are NOT God.

One of the unique differences between Christianity and many eastern religions, including Hinduism, is that Christianity is not pantheistic. Pantheism, teaches that God is present in the creation, and that all of creation put together equals God.

However, Christianity teaches that God is transcendent, meaning separate from and above the creation, and that God is the creator. So that in the same way we could appreciate the genius of a painter in his painting, we can see the genius of God in the creation. However, we would never say that a painter's painting is actually the painter himself. Christianity would say that worshiping the creation as God rather than seeing it as the creation of God is a mistake.

Romans 1:19-25
For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made....

Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles ....Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever!

4. God is NOT in the hearts of those who have not received Christ.

Many are surprised to find out that God is not in the hearts of those who do not believe, biblically speaking. There are a few reasons for this confusion.

a. Many believe in the "Universal sonship" of all humans

While all people are created by God, and so in a sense, can call God their "Father", this does not mean that they are safe from perdition based on this fact. A sinner may be loved by God as a Father loves a child, but that won't save them.

b. Many confuse the "image of God" in them with God himself

While the scriptures teach that we are made in the "image of God", this, again, is more like a copy, or a creation of the creator, and not the creator Himself (see point 3 above). Some, like the Quakers, may describe this God-likeness as the "inner light", but this "inner divinity" is still, biblically speaking, NOT God himself.

c. Even the Disciples of Jesus did not have God's spirit in them initially

After Jesus' resurrection, and before he ascended, he discussed with his disciples how after He left, the Holy Spirit (God's Spirit) would be sent to them. Notice the prepositions below

John 14:16-17
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

d. God's spirit only enters upon personal invitation

To become a "child of God," scriptures teach that He must be willingly received. Before that, we can not really say that God is living in us. This is where the terms "born again" and "born of the spirit" come from.

John 1:12-13
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

John 3:4-7
Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

Of course, an even tougher question is, where is Jesus?

Because of the fact that Ivy is a fanatical atheist cult member, here to recruit for her religion-in-reverse, she makes some of the most ludicrous and laughable claims that ever existed.

Pitiable, really.

If she had any shred of insight, she would see the game she ignorantly plays. Because she is arrogant as well as ignorant, then there is absolutely no point trying to reason with such an intensely indoctrinated cult fanatic.

In short, Ivy, you are the one whose cult is short on scientific proof.

That is why you failed.

Even light will bend to do our bidding if we apply force correctly. The lowest servant in Heaven is still in Heaven, whoever rules in hell is still in hell, but they won't rule for long. No man stands taller than when he stoops to help a little child.

Thank you for such info on your religiion'ly kind words! WoW I didn't think that was allowed but I grew up to learn that hill-billy religion was just to be left alone because pigs tend to skueel city spelling

1 Kings 8:49 says "you must also hear from the heavens, your established place of dwelling. Also do you remember the lords prayer, it says "Our father IN THE HEAVENS, hallowed be thy name. Does that indicate that God is everywhere or that he is in a certain location? Additionally Isaiah 66:1 says the heavens are my throne and the earth is my footstool. Therefore it is clear that Gods abode is in the heavens. Did you know that God has a body? There is a physical body and there is a spiritual body. Satan entered before God as noted at Job 1:6, says, Now it came to be the day when the sons of the true God entered to take their station before Jehovah and even Satan proceeded to enter right among them. Again, does it appear that God is everywhere or that He instead is in a certain location. Is it really necessary for him to be everywhere all the time in view of the fact that his spirit can accomplish his will anywhere. What do you think he has angels for? They are messengers, and they report to him. Which one would you feel more inclined to have a close relationship with, an abstract God who is everywhere all the time or a real God with a personality that has feelings for you? In conclusion, clearly God is in the heavens and he has a body. We cannot see Him but we can discern his personality through examining his son Jesus Christ works and through Gods creative works

God the Father, and God the Son are every where as for as what they have created. The heavens, the earth, mankind, flowers, birds, and on and on. When you look at a star filled night, a beautiful sunset, awesome clouds. God the Father and God the Son have no limitations. Their ability is far beyond our mortal comprehension. The bible is full of them......Revelations and others, but this one I think explains where they sit and see all things down here.

Revelation 4
1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

dgsinclair I agree with a lot of what you said, but then you blew it all by asking where Jesus is?

God the Father is the Master of the Universe. This is where Jesus is, in heaven with his father and with us whenever we stray, need his strength, feel his love, sorrow to hold us...........he is every where.

Hebrews 1 The Son Superior to Angels

1In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

5For to which of the angels did God ever say,
   "You are my Son;
      today I have become your Father[a]"[b]? Or again,

We mortals true have trouble understanding how awesome God and Jesus are, it is beyond our scope of understanding. Scientists, and other men of high esteem do not have a speck of knowledge compared to God the Father and God the Son.

God does not use this technology, he does not need it, but he has many helpers. By his will alone he can create, destroy, or whatever he deems necessary. So are not we lucky here on earth to have such a loving and forgiving God. How many times we have doubted him, crossed him, not obeyed him.

Even Satan has been given time to correct his ways. God does not love lightly, his love is unconditional. Jesus is his son, and has all of the attributes as his Father the Master and is still subject to God the Father's will.

There is so much Jesus as taught me, but the world would never accept his words to me, just like they did not when he came to this earth and suffered ridicule, hatred, beating, and finally death of his flesh. He not only suffered, but God the Father, all the angels and all the other ones in heaven cried and suffered right along with him. God and Jesus love us so much they did this for us.
