The Differences between the two creation events In Genesis chapter One at the same time made "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment"breath of life living soul. "for that he also is flesh""also,""...Be fruitful and multiply..." (Gen 1:28) afteri.e.,wildwilddomestic crop"...went up a mist from the earth..."But after that did not have a man to till the ground"

They all (plural) were CREATED .
Created is Hebrew word #1254 bara'
"...male and female created he them " (Gen 1:27)

But in Genesis chapter Two

Adam alone (singular) is FORMED
Formed is Hebrew word #3335 yatsar
"...in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed." (Gen 2:8)

They are created male and female .  No 'Adam's Rib' here! Adam is formed some time before Eve.
She later being from him. They were simply created, human and mortal.
(Heb 9:27). Adam given the , became a
(Adam would have lived forever had he not fell - see Gen 6:3 ). Ask yourself, as in whom else? They are told to multiply.
No such command is given to Adam and Eve
(Adam's family was told to multiply the flood;  Noah's family was told in Gen 9:1). Mankind given dominion over animals and fish.
Adam was a farmer.
The animals were animals and the plants were plants.  No names given. They were animals and plants.
Adam named these. There was not yet rain. (Gen 2:6) The creation was completed.  All the various
races, men and women alike, were created.
THEN ------ >>> , in Gen 2:5, God saw that He " (farmer).
So God then FORMED Adam.

But probably the most striking evidence that Genesis chapter One and Genesis chapter Two are not speaking of the same event would be:

I n Gen 1 , the plants and animals were created BEFORE man(kind) was created.

I n Gen 2 , the plants and animals were formed AFTER the man Adam was formed.

This immediately dismisses the misconception that the account in Gen 2 is merely a deeper explanation of the events in Gen 1, as many will say and teach.  For if it were, then God 'messed up' on the order of His creation, which is of course impossible.  When God and man are at variance, man is always wrong and God always right.  Let's now go to the Creation Scriptures themselves for further evidence and documentation.

Lets begin our deeper study with a prayer to our Heavenly Father for wisdom and understanding of His True Word, in the name of the Messiah Jesus Christ.  First let's read as God sets out to create mankind, all the separate races and ethnic peoples of the world are created in the below scripture.  This is what is referred to as the Sixth Day Creation .

Genesis 1:26

Genesis 1:26
26 And God *1 said, Let us *2 make man in our *3 image, after our *4 likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Embedded notes in Scripture (by #):
*1-*4).   God , us , our , our = God and the Angels. The Hebrew word used here for "God" is 'elohiym and it is in the plural sense . Below is the definition of this Hebrew word 'elohiym .
God: Hebrew word #430 'elohiym (el-o-heem'); plural of 433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article ) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates ; and sometimes as a superlative: KJV-- angels, X exceeding, God (gods)- dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty. (*1-*4 continued):  'elohiym is even translated as "angels" once in another Scripture:

Ps 8:5
5 For thou hast made him [Jesus Christ] a little lower than the angels [ 'elohiym ] , and hast crowned him with glory and honour.  (KJV)

I mean, really, didn't you ever wonder who God was talking to in this verse?  Who was the "us" and "our?"

This is those whom we refer to as the Sixth Day Creation .  We observed that male and female were created at the same time on that sixth day (after all the animals are created). We also notice that Adam and Eve are not yet on the scene, they will not be mentioned by name until the next chapter.

The people created on the above sixth day, are all the separate races. All the distinct and diverse races were created on this sixth day.  Someone asked me how it was that I knew that God created all the various races on this Sixth Day since it does not specifically say that there were different races created, just that mankind were created at the same time both males and females.  I answered him: "Because they are here."

The same as I know that God created the Dolphin and the Butterfly, though the Bible never comes right out and says that God created them by name.  God created everything and everyone, "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:3) .

There are two perversions of God's natural order, they are the Kenite (sons of Cain) and the Giants (the sons of the fallen angels from Gen 6:4), in both instances it was the specific females of Adam's line (family-race) that the females were taken from to fashion the abomination (i.e.; not of the Sixth Day peoples).  God set these two events apart and dealt with them in the Scriptures, explaining what had happened.

God created the differences in the races and he made them just the way He wanted them to be, He loves all His children. This is the significance of the use of the word "God" in these creation verses.  As we saw, the word "God," is translated from the Hebrew word 'elohiym (el-o-heem'), and in English here it refers to: "God and the Angels ".  The Angels have individual looks and so do flesh mankind.

Remember that the Hebrew word God ('elohiym ) is a PLURAL word, i.e., more than one; but we know that there is only one Lord God (Ye hovah 'elohiym ).  In the creation events in the first chapter of Genesis the term for God used is ('elohiym ) but in the second chapter, before Adam was formed, we see the first introduction of the term Lord God (Ye hovah 'elohiym ).  We will go deeper into this later, but for simplicities sake you can consider ('elohiym ) here to mean God and the angels and (Ye hovah 'elohiym ) to be The God of (over) the angels .

We will cover Adam and Eve in a moment, but lets lock this sixth day creation event in real good before we move on. The above mentioned peoples of this sixth day creation are called in the Hebrew Old Testament "gowy" and in the New Testament Greek they are called "ethnos."  E thnos is where we get our English word "ethnic" from.  Both these terms appear in the Bible as "nations." Below is the Strong's definitions of "nations" in both the Old and New Testament Hebrew and Greek:

"nations" in the Old Testament Hebrew:

Hebrew word #1471 gowy (go'-ee); rarely (shortened) goy (go'-ee); apparently from the same root as 1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence, a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts: KJV-- Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

"nations" in the New Testament Greek:

Greek word #1484 ethnos (eth'-nos); probably from 1486; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually by implication, pagan): KJV-- Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

In our Bibles, the New Testament English words: nations, greeks, people, and heathen are all translated from the Greek word 'ethnos' and it is one of the Greek words used in the New Testament for those that are the races of the sixth day creation.

Ethnos means: the individual races, all the races. They are mentioned all through-out the Bible as Nations, Gentiles, Peoples, and also referred to; Tongues, kindreds, and Multitudes.  Some religions will tell you that only certain "peoples" will go to Heaven, of course common sense tells us that all of God's children have an opportunity to spend the eternity with our Heavenly Father if they believe upon Jesus Christ, but lets let God's Word do the teaching. The following two excerpts are taken from the book of Revelation, and they describe those of the various races of the sixth day creation as they overcame and entered Heaven:

Rev 7:9-17 (speaking of Heaven)
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands ;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. (KJV)

Rev 21:24-27 (speaking of Heaven)
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it : and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV)

There is no racism with God, He made us different looking, yes, but He loves all His children and members of all will participate in the eternity.  So after this mass creation of peoples on the sixth day, God rested the seventh.  And we will pick it up in the next chapter (Gen 2:4-7) where we will see that Adam and Eve were singled out for a different type of 'creation', and we will learn the reason behind it, for there was a very good reason.

NOTE:  We will now be going back to the Hebrew of the Old Testament, we just cited the above Greek New Testament Scriptures to show that the Word of God flows naturally from the Old through the New Testament and that the "nations" (Gentiles, non-Israelites) are indeed included in the eternal salvation plan of God.

Adam is Formed

This is what is referred to as the Eighth Day Creation ; though whether it was the eighth day and not some other later day is not specifically mentioned in the Scripture; the point is that it was after the seventh day of God's rest which in turn was after the sixth day wherein all of mankind was created.  The title "Eighth Day" is simply a term to distinguish it's events from the sixth day (the sixth was definitely so designated as being the sixth of seven).

GENESIS 2:4-7

The Scripture
Genesis 2:4-7
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the LORD God *1 formed *2 man *3 of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (KJV)
Embedded notes in Scripture (by #)
*1 LORD God = Here in (Gen 2:7) is the first time in the Bible that the title 'The Lord God' appears, and it is in connection with the forming of Adam in the garden of Eden. This title or name 'The Lord God' is: Jehovah 'Elohiym , and it means: The Lord God of the Angels. Prior to this, the title of the Creator of mankind on the sixth day was 'God' which as you remember is: 'Elohiym, and means: God and the Angels. (Gen 1:26). This serves to further distinguish the Forming of Adam from the creation of the rest of mankind in general.
*2 formed = Here again we see a unique word use in connection with Adam in the Garden of Eden. Compare the fact that Adam was FORMED , but those from the sixth day (Gen 1:27) were CREATED . Also notice that Adam was formed alone, for Eve does not show up until eighteen verses later in (Gen 2:22); but in the sixth day creation, man and women were created same simultaneously (Gen 1:27). Embedded notes (Cont.):  Below we have supplied the two very distinctly different definitions of the two words: FORMED and CREATED , and as you can see, there is a certain Divine destiny involved in 'FORMING' that is not present in 'CREATING':

CREATED : Hebrew word # 1254; bara' - to shape, to fashion, to create (always with God as subject) used of individual man , used of new conditions and circumstances , to be created, used of birth, used of something new .

FORMED : Hebrew word # 3335; yatsar - to form, to fashion, to frame, used of human activity, used of divine activity , used of Israel as a people , to frame, to pre-ordain , to plan (figurative of divine) to purpose of a situation, to be predetermined , to be pre-ordained , to be formed.

*3 man = This is a very special word in the Hebrew language, and this is the first time that it appears in connection with The Lord God (See note below).  It is also seen in Gen 1:27 (see note below), Gen 2:8, 2:15 and Gen 6:4, it has a special word in the Hebrew text that is not used in the English language. This particular English word 'man,' has in the Hebrew language what is called the article and it also has the particle . This makes this word very emphatic.  This will be further discussed below.

Eve will be MADE (Hebrew word #1129) from Adam later in Gen 2:22. The reason for Adam and Eve being singled out from the creation of the rest of mankind is because that through the womb of Eve, umbilical cord to umbilical cord, would eventually four-thousand years later, be born the Messiah Jesus the Christ. The Bible is basically the story of one man's family and the peoples that they encounter through-out history. That is the history of Adams family, through which Jesus Christ would come. And through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, all peoples from all the Nations ( eth'-nos in the Greek of the New Testament, & goyem in the Hebrew of the Old Testament) of the earth can be grafted into the eternal family of God in the eternity, in Heaven!
