Well, they have been for a couple of millenia.

Science, as "smart" as it sounds, can only offer theories.  So far, none has been proved.  The missing link is still missing.  For instance, I was reading an article some weeks ago about a bug that was found and believed to be 230 millions old.  However, at that time there were no flowering plants yet a flower was found on it.  So scientist say it probably fell on the bug years later. But that is only a theory.  As is everything else in evolution and the Big Bang Theory. 

I think it takes a lot more faith to believe in theories than it does in a Creator.  After all, you can't create something out of nothing.  But yes, I believe in science, as long as it does not contradict God's Word.   

It's not God that has the problem with science.

It's people who insist that a book written 4000 years ago, is the indisputable pinnacle of all knowledge, who are the problem.

I think if your faith conflicts with science, it's time to examine your faith and decide what may be right and what may still be stuck in the past. They can co-exist, but you must be a realist.

What do you mean CHALLENGED the existence of a god?  There is NO evidence for ANY god. Figure out why you dismiss the tens of thousands of other gods and goddesses invented by mankind around the world and throughout the ages, and then you'll understand that there is no more evidence for the one you believe in than any of the ones you don't believe in. It is PURE WISHFUL THINKING.

The Bible was written by man in order to keep society under control. By installing fear of the damnations of hell if one does not conform. If one religion is right than they are all wrong! I will never believe there is a man up in the sky with a pen and paper keeping tabs. Listen to Alan Watts "Man and his Religion" on you tube it is wonderful.
