Discuss fletcherba234's answer to: God in Air Force Logo: Should He Stay?

Dozens of members of Congress are upset that the Air Force has removed the Latin word for "God" from the logo of an Air Force acquisitions office. What do you think about this?

As one who knows God, I have the fear of God.  What would God fear?  We ask our pilots to always be cool and know what to do, in the toughest of circumstances.  No one can do that if they aren't sure they will be in Heaven after they buy it.

Why did we knock down 12 MiG's and Sukoys in Vietnam to one lost Phantom?  Because we knew something atheists don't know.  We know death is not the end.

Atheist superstition is an extremist militant superstition, but that is why atheists also start wars they can't finish.  Atheists freeze up and can't decide whether to stay in a fight, bug out, or punch out.

When you are up there twenty-five thousand feet above the ocean, turning and bending your airframe, you realize that you seem alone, but you are not alone.  Coming to grips with that a second before death will make anyone panicky and it will cost them their lives.  Coming to grips with that in early childhood makes it clear what to do and how to do it.

Is that why atheists are both utterly barbaric, and absolute pushovers in combat?

Unfortunately for them, yes -- in no uncertain terms.

There burns no hotter fire in hell than that reserved for cowards, home wreckers, and troublemakers. Be warned accordingly.

we can talk and credit the pilot, the navigator and the flight crew. Even the design of the aircraft and wing form.

But what really holds that plane up in the sky is the hand of God.
