DD,  At this point I think that they may be holding off as to the Budgets..

I hope not, because so many of technical advances that have come out of the space program we now use in our everyday life.  Also, if you look at the overall cost of the space program, it is a small part of the US budget.

Our next gearup in the space program is a manned mission to Mars.  That will require a massive lunar program, much larger and leaner than the Apollo program. 

 

America is a space-faring nation.  It is our destiny to go there in peace.
