My girlfriend cheating

You can work through this and try to build the trust back up, but she has to prove she can be trusted first..and judging from her past affairs, her having a new guy friend is not helping. If you're not comfortable with their friendship, tell her this. If she really wants the relationship to work and to prove she can be trusted, she will give up this friendship for you. . If she refuses, she is basically choosing him over you..and further proving she can't be trusted.

I basically agree with Janissa.  As you can see in my profile I HATE cheaters.  If you are truly in love, you have no reason to cheat.  Having guy or girl "friends" is healthy.  Nobody should give up their friends for a bf or gf or spouse.  She admitted she cheated which is a good thing.  Now you have to talk over what has happened in the past and try to work on your relationship.  If you see that she is spending alot of time with this new boy "friend" and makes excuses why she is not coming home at a descent hour and you've been more then patient with her than maybe it is best to end the relationship.  I honestly believe once a cheater always a cheater.  This is just my personal opinion.  Hope this helps.  Good Luck!

Your first 2 answers make some very good points.  I'm always in favor of "working things out", HOWEVER, you must realize that you are considering enterring into a marriage that already has "strikes" against it.  Marriage is a lot of work, especially after the "honeymoon stage".  You have a huge mountain to climb in the area of trust.  As Janissa said, she has to prove that she can be trusted, and that doesn't happen overnight.  It takes time.  What's sad, is you can trust a person for years, but you can also lose that trust instantly when you find out something like this.  You really need to think about this, and do what's right for you.  I was married for 6 yrs, then I found out my wife us unfaithful.  We tried and gave everything to work it out, but the damage was already done.  Cheating is so damaging to a relationship.  I just don't want to see you get hurt in the future, because once you're married and there's cheating, then there's all kinds of other ramifications (house, kids, assets, your dignity, etc...)  I hope you can work it out with her, but really think about it, try not to get too caught up with your emotions as you're making your decision, and take care of yourself!  Blessings, and good luck!

Get used to it.  Doesn't matter which woman you end up with.  In the end you will still not know her and she willhave had more lovers than you anyway.  It is the nature of the female beast.  They are weak emotionally and when some man says the right thing at the right time in the right place, they're naked, whiping sperm off their bellies or chins and coming home to you with just another secret.  And no one keeps a better sexual secret than a woman protecting herself.  Get used to it.
