Does gillyweed work on muggles?

Well, in the Harry Potter world, Muggles don't know about Wizards and spells and such, so they shouldn't even know what Gillyweed is. As for it working on them....Not sure, since it's made up by J.K., but if you ever met her at a signing or something, that would be a great question to ask her.

i would guess yes beacause spells and other enchantments work on muggels. but since J.K. never says anything it is unsure. it would be a major problem if a muggle got their hands on gillyweed or anyother type of magic
