Discuss Serenity's answer to: Gifts for end of a class

Our graduation allowed us the privilege to present our teachers with gifts of gratitude.

My American Literature professor (a real wag) deserved an autographed copy of "The Devil's Dictionary," by Ambrose Bierce.  He defines words thus:

"Attorney: one who is skilled at circumventing the law."
"Accordion: a device used to wring confessions out of music lovers."
"Mother in law: a good substitute for a moving target."

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech or of the preess; the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for the redress of grievances." Article 1, Amendments to the US Constitution.
