If the partner is not over their ex, he/she keeps talking about him/her, the topic of the conversation is mostly the ex. He/she sometimes want to call by phone/text/e-mail the ex to see what he/she is doing.

You are intelligent, Lorie. You can feel their presence in your time together with your partner. Your partner may be holding a part of themselves back from you. Even though your relationship has gotten to the point of declaring your feelings or making a commitment, your partner just can't seem to move on to the next phase. They inadvertently call you by that person's name, or bring that person up in conversation a great deal. I have always known when the man I was with was thinking of someone else. There was just something missing.

The way he kisses you. The way he pampers you. The way he praises you. The way he holds you. The way he loves you. If you get the cold shoulder treatment than he's thinking of that ex. I do admit I still struggle with my exhubby for nearly 4 yrs. I don't bring him into a conversation unless my date asks about my past. A person knows. Its a gut feeling. You'll alway be 2nd best no matter how beautiful you are to him.

wat i can say i`ve been throw this stage be4 he amention her some times suddenly when u are talkin about some thn els,and he hate or feel apset when u talk about her,and by mistakes some times he say things he shouldnt say,or u know some times with out doin these things ur heart just can feel it.so trust it he knows better.gd luck and i hope he get over her
