Hi,
Blow air on them and they'll run away.   You can use a simple / regular ventilator or an air blower (the one that is used to dry hairs).

Bkow on ants to get rid of them? Are you kidding? Have you ever seen the march of the little black critters up the kitchen wall? The only way i know of is to use a chinese yellow powder and then find the outside source and use bleach good luck

I came across a article in an local newspaper.It talks about a research into repelling ant's and termites.

In the article it says an study found extracting a fatty acid's from newly dead or dying insect's ,(ants or termites) contain a odour only these insects can detect.

The chemicals oleic and or linolec contained in their  membranes cell. Causes these creatures to be repelled from the area.

An apparently all crustaceans from whom all insect's diverged some 400 million years ago.Also cockroaches and caterpillars are also on the list.

And labs are working on a spray containing these essences of the fatty acid chemicals.To be used as a green friendly to repel these tiny creatures.

I say they should enlist the use of great french perfumer's to make a potion of these chemical's. Any comment's or answer's to this subject's

You can't just cancel the garlic. You can dilute it if you make more Sloppy Joe mix with no garlic, but it may still be too much garlic. So you either decide to love the garlic, or throw it all away.
