George Washington bronze coin

I have a solid bronze coin enclosed in a sealed container. It has George Washington on front with the name of J.A.Houdon on left lower corner, and a house with words of MOUNT VERNON on top and THE HOME OF GEORGE WASHINGTON on the bottom. I would like to know any information about this coin and its worth. Thanks, Gerald S.

Geroge washington coin:

It's just a coin sold at Mt. Vernon. That's where I bought mine, at the Mt. Vernon gift shop about 20 years ago. I see them going on ebay for between 5 and 20 bucks fairly regularly. There's nothing particularly special about the coin.

Is it true George Washington had Whale bone dentures and not wooden?

It's true. Back in the day, dentures were made from ivory, dead people's teeth and other similar materials. No one would make any out of wood. They would taste terrible and they would deteriorate very quickly into pulp.
