Why don't you address this with the elected pols in your state? I don't think most of here can do anything to cause anything to change.

News occurs when the uninformed are interviewed by the unqualified to produce drivel for the uneducated. If all men knew what others say of them, there would not be four friends in the world. -Blaise Pascal, philosopher and mathematician (1623-1662)

I don't even think that it should be on a ballot.  It has nothing to do with religion.  It's a civil right.  We are all supposed to have equal rights under the constitution.  What would it hurt straight people if gay people were able to get married?  And why are they taking away rights in amendments?  The constitution is to give rights, not to take them away.  Sorry, but I don't think that the general public should be able to use their religious reasoning to take away a right of millions of it's citizens who also pay taxes and serve this country!

If the Creator did the Adam and Adam thing or Eve and Eve thing it would be a short story.  Yes?  Does that not tell you something?

Locked and Loaded

Gay marriage is wrong!  There is nothing the civil law can do to change God's mind.  He has written many passages in His Word that plainly tells it is wrong for man to be with man, and women likewise.  I can't believe that there are some who would allow an Insurance policy to stand between them and Heaven.  How sad is that.

MY FUR BABIES MAX AND SHILOH God did not give me the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 11Timothy 1:7

mammasgirl,

It sounds as though you know "by personal experience," and have "walked in their shoes" yourself.

"Do not judge others, unless you have taken time to first examine yourself!"

You are certainly free to express your opinion, but I totally disagree with you on this subject.

"LEARNING is fundamental!" God, Self, Country...in that order. VISION, Change and Education=PROGRESS

There is nothing that the constitution can do to restrict a fundamental right guaranteed in the state charter. If insurance is denied then that's pathetic. - Gay Adult DVD
