my garage door keeps reversing to to the "open state" unless i hold the main button pad the whole time til it's closed. my 2 remotes can open the door, but they can't close the door. it starts then goes back up, lights blinking. the eye sensors are lined up both glowing green. I've replaced the batteries recently in the remotes. we had a power outtage a couple of weeks ago & it seems like it started after that. it is not doing it all the time either. it seems like when i leave to go to work in the morning, i can open the garage to get out, but when I use the remote to close the door, it starts, stops, blinks and just won't close. I have to go into the garage, hold the button down the whole time til it is closed completely. Then go out the front door to get to my car. Then I come home and it opens normal & then it'll close normal. Then the next day, the same thing. i've tried 2 different remotes with the same result. Any ideas/suggestions to help resolve this problem.??? Thanks, Terri

And pull power plug - wait a few minutes - plug back in. That will "reset" the unit.
Just got this question today. Hopefully you found the answer. If not, try resetting the code which is in the main unit. Then set your remotes to the same code.
If it's just in the morning, it's possible the sun is shining directly on the sensors. This would allow the door to open but not close because they are shaded when closed. You could try reversing the eyes, as one is a transmitter and one a receiver. I had this problem with my door and reversing them helped. It still acts up once in awhile when the sun directly shines on it.
