Start by attending some Sports Memrobilla shows in your area.  Limit youself to

one main item you want to collect.  Suibscribe to Sports Collectors Digest to

get good info and cost estimates.  Always get a Certificate of Authenticity

on the items you buy.  If the price sounds too good....it's not a authentic item.
