i have a gambling problem,its to the point where im almost at rock bottom. why cant i stop i think that i could win the debt back i might get lucky but i have the worst luck. i need some advice and opinions please.

If you feel that you are addicted to gambling and you cannot stop on your own, you can make an appointment with a counselor for individual therapy or contact Gamblers Anonymous. I believe GA is similar to AA and other 12-step programs, you can reach them at gamblersanonymous.org.

Yes, you should probably seek some kind of professional help for this if you feel you've hit "rock bottom." Find solace in friends and family as well, and let them keep you accountable and encouraged. Talk about it with them - that's what they're there for.
