What type and where do you find makeup for deceased people for funerals?

Generally, the mortuary will handle all of that. However, I see by your topic that perhaps this is for a theatrical performance? If so, why not just contact a mortuary in your area and ask to speak to the person in charge? Surely they won't mind answering a few questions for you.

From what I read, the goal is to make the person look similar to what they did when alive, so the finished makeup looks very much as it would should the person be living. However, due to the chemicals used in the embalming process, etcetera, there are specific brands of makeup which are used in the funeral industry. You can find them available for sale online (do a Google search); here's a link to one:
