Why does an exhumed body have to be reburied in a new casket

I have been on many exhumations and never once was a new casket required.  Check with your state Funeral / Mortuary Board.  The board is usually a State run Board, for the consumer, there is always the option of the Federal Trade Commission, The overseer of the funeral industry. 

Do not get ripped off when there is a death in your family
