Just Friends

 I wrote a few months ago regarding a friend who was getting married, We dated for a very short time because he told me that he just wanted me as a friend after he started seeing another woman that hurt I believed we would have had a great relationship, anyway I made my peace with it and after a while we have remain good friends, he called me a few days ago.he is now very much a married man. Now he's telling me that he is still attracted to me. He was married to his first wife for 37 years she passed away last year. I think he may have gotten married too soon. I have made it very clear that we can only be friends. Please give me your thoughts.

Hi Pat, ------- You did the right thing.  Every decision has it's consiquences.... and if he decided to marry (sure to soon) that means he is married and if you start relationswith him you only help him cheat and you sure won't do to others what you wouldn't like others to do to you.   On the other hand if you really think that the relations between the 2-of-U could be great than you can tell him that if he gets a divorce you could give it a try (as you feel that it can lead to great relations) but not even 1 day B4 it.  Between your lines I can sense that you are a woman with high morals.   ----------- Best regards,
