What is the best way to keep coffee beans fresh? Is it the best option to always grind your own coffee beans? Is it difficult to roast them?

Buy your coffee beans as fresh as you can. Buy fresh green coffee beans of you can and roast it yourself. Raw green coffee beans should be not more than several months old when you buy. The unroasted coffee beans get old after about one year and it can absorb a taste of the Burlap coffee bags in which they are stored.

If you roast your coffee beans use it up to about 2 weeks after roasting if you want it to be fresh and preserve its flavors.

Grind only as much as you need for your current brew. Ground coffee loses its flavors in minutes.

If you buy ground coffee make sure its packed well and not too told. Same thing when you buy green or roasted whole coffee beans. Always make sure you buy fresh coffee.
