What causes a computer screen to freeze up and then return to normal in a few minutes when you're watching videos or just reading an article ?

Often times, too many applications are trying to run at the same time and can sometimes freeze the computer up for a minute or more. If you wait a few minutes and it returns to normal, it means the computer has completed the multiple applications that it had initially frozen up from.

Think with your head, not your a$$.

It could be a problem with your internet or that the page was just reloading.  If you are talking about videos that you were watching not via the internet, then it could be a problem with your dvd player.  If it doesn't happen that often, I'd ignore it.  If not, you can take your computer in to see if there's a problem.
