It would be entirely possible: nothing in the history of Jeremiah Wright could imply that he was ever a Christian. 

Quite the contrary, we see a bitter, angry, and devious old man preaching a completely false doctrine, with a lust for vengeance for crimes that either never occurred at all, or occurred ten generations before he was born -- hence are all dismissed as moot.

Wright is not the first black racist in America -- not by any means.  You will find that black racists are the severest of all racists and the most likely to resort to extremes to get their way, no matter the price or who pays it on thjeir behalf.

Eventually anger becomes their entire religion and that separates them from God absolutely.

In short, Jeremiah Wright is by any definition a false prophet and that was predicted as the origin of the Antichrist.  Christians are not the only ones to suffer under this devious character.  No one can be spared.  Yet there was no reason we could not have prevented this travesty by acting wisely and with prudent faith.

It is fulfilled before your very eyes.

To see the intensity of hatred in some of us, consider Rufus Byers (AKA Mohammed Bin Gadaafi, Mustafa Bin Pashwar, others). The charge, "Human Trafficking," is Muslim slavery.  The practice is still condoned throughout Islam.  Byers has cult connections with Mauritania's Ali Akhbar faction, known to sell kidnapped American children to mercenaries as child soldiers, usually sent on suicide missons.

Wright and Farrakhan both condoned the practice of slavery as it aids and abets Islam.  Since the two are so deeply involved from 1962-1999, then we can only presume that this lucrative but utterly corrupt trade was carried out witrh Wright's blessing.
