Do you rember Fordham Hospital in the Bronx,and when It was torn down?

It must have been torn down just after April 1976, because an Op-Ed in the New York Times on that date opposed the local residents' organizing to "save it", claiming New York Health Department said conditions were deplorable, anesthesia inadequate, and sterilization procedures also a problem.  I was born there in 1957.  Now, it's a parking garage for Fordham University.
