Is there any way to deep fry something on the stove if you don't actually have a deep fryer?

You can take a deep pot and fill it half way with oil then deep fry stuff in that. Make sure you are careful because unless you have a lid it can pop you and burn you.

Don't fill the pan more than a third of the way up with fat and be very careful not to let it overheat.
