cast aluminum pressure cookers. with a cooking of beans in jars with water in bottem of the cast aluminum pressure cookers ? can they stay on the stove eye on high for 17 hours
I would say no because it would likely explode. When using a pressure cooker you must follow the directions carefully. The temperature needs to be controlled because that is what determins the pressure inside the canner. If the pressure is too high for too long there is a good likely hood that the lid will blow off or explode...very dangerous!!
