The way that you have asked the question renders it impossible to answer because the size of the shrimp is not given.

For 3 to 3.5 ounces of shrimp, the sodium content is around 120 - 150 mg. Doing a little math will let you know that one pound of shrimp is a little less than 1000 mg. So, unless you are on a severely restricted sodium diet, you should be fine.

Old Bay is a wonderful seasoning to use when you prepare shrimp. Be sure  you check the sodium content here. I do not know what that is right off the cuff. I think I will go and thaw out a package now. Thanx for the suggestion.

You might check The Daily Plate for the nutrition information - they show the stats (including sodium) for a huge variety of foods.

If you soak the shrimp in tap water you will reduce the salt content. You can then increase the flavour slightly with a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice.

Twenty medium shrimp are about 1 pound raw, less cooked. Three ounces of cooked shrimp, or about 1 main-dish serving, have 190 mg sodium. However, the sodium will be increased if they are cooked in salted water or have other seasonings, like Old Bay, added. Sauces also add sodium.
