Step 1

Take Synthroid exactly as it was prescribed to you. Read all the information that you are given with your prescription and contact the pharmacist or your doctor if you have any questions. If your doctor chooses to change the dosage of your prescription you should follow their instructions, not those on the prescription label.

  • Step 2
Take Synthroid with a full glass of water. It is very important to drink a full glass of water (at least 8 ounces) when you take Synthroid. Synthroid can dissolve very quickly and expand, causing you to choke or gag.

  • Step 3
Take Synthroid at the same time every day. Synthroid is usually taken in the morning. Wait thirty minutes after taking Synthroid before you eat.

  • Step 4
Have your blood tested on a regular basis while you are taking Synthroid to ensure the medication is working like it should. You will also need to have your kidney and liver functions tested from time to time while taking this medication.

  • Step 5
Store Synthroid at room temperature. Make sure you keep the medication away from extreme heat and moisture or the medication may become ruined.

Mostly it's a matter of genetics. The nice thing about this is that you deal better with weather changes and don't get sun stuck as much as people who don't sweat so much.

A couple of things you can do - one is have a small surgery to remove your sweat glands. Or there are some medications you can take, or use Aluminum based deodorant (not very healthy, but seem to work well for some people who sweat a lot).

Another option is not worry about the sweat, but change things in your lifestyle to make your sweat not smelly, which is - if you smoke, stop smoking, if you drink alcohol, stop drinking. Avoid some type of food like curry powder, asparagus, some chillies, too much meat and so on, also, though you sweat exercise  daily, especially type of sports that will make you sweat - like bikram yoga or spinning. And (and I know this sounds weird, but give it a shot) stop using soap and shower using water alone, don't use perfume or any products with scents (like deodorant, lotions and so on).

This is what my husband does and his sweat doesn't have any smell at all.

I too have diabetes and when my bloods sugars are too low I will break into a sweat. This is called hypoglycemia. Until I get my blood sugars back to normal I sweat and sometimes shake. Have you checked your blood sugars when you feel this way to see if you are low? For more information see this web page.

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

This can cause severe discomfort and embarrassment and can get in the way of performing certain everyday tasks. Though sweaty palms are treatable through a number of different procedures, there is no complete cure
