geraniums, coleus, sweet potato vine, petunia, coreopsis, marigolds, ornamental grass, lantana, African daisy

You can plant practically almost anything in concrete planters as long as they've got good drainage. If it doesn't have any drainage then you can put in smaller pots planted with your flowering plants. You can plant just about any flowers as long as their hardiness belongs to your gardening zone.
