Is Florida inmates getting an early release for non violent inmates also are they now doing 65 % instead of 85 % of their time?

I have been told by my son that the inmates in Florida are now doing only 65 % of their time instead of 85% and that they will release some of the non violent inmates is this ture or just something the guards are telliong the inmates.

As of Sept 5, 2009, everyone was still under 85% rule.

What was a army early release in 1970?

One "early release" at that time was found in the UCMJ, Section 8-Article 212. The relevant part read something like "physically or mentally unfit for further military service." A man I went to high school with got "212'd", somewhere near that year.
