Flip Toaster - cleaning

Does anyone know of an effective way to clean a flip toaster? I have an intolerance to gluten and need to remove build-up from the base.

I too am gluten intolerant and when I found out I went out and bought a new toaster. I didn't want to take any chances.

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

1. If you have the air spray can to clean computers, spray that first to get out loose pieces.

2. Spray with Lysol spray bathroom cleaner, let it sit for 5 minutes. Then take a long  skinny bamboo stick that you put pieces of meat, onions, etc. to cook. Put a small piece of paper towel held on to the bamboo stick with a rubber band.
