My RCA TV Guide Plus has no picture and makes a loud ringing noise.

Did you check if your TV is supported by TV guide?

There are some problems with Gemstar, did you try unpugging it and changing the zip to 00000 or 99999.

I have 32 inch RCA TV that is about 6 yrs old. works fine, good sound and picture, no issues, UNTIL the other day when it started to shut itsself on and off, and flip between VID and Ch 3. We tried pushing every button on the remote and it wouldnt do anything, menue, set up, vid/Tv nothing, we even tried using the buttons ON the front of the TV. We unplugged it for a few hours, still nothing. We even disconected the TV from the digi box and ran stright cable, still wouldnt stop flipping between VID and Ch 3. Some one please help!

This sounds weird , I think 6 years might be too much for your tv. I think you should contact a technecian but first even ask him if it is worth it fixing it or maybe you should get a new one.

i have a big screen RCA tv 1 year old, i push the on/off button, the light comes on for a few seconds and then shuts off. the tv will not turn on at all. can this be repaired at home?
