How to fix the bulk mail delete feature? ????

 I used to be able to.How do you fix the BULK DELETE FEATURE? In ONLY one of my email accounts i cannot Bulk Delete my already deleted mail. Have to do each & evey one separately. I don't have time for this. Whats up????
