Hi,

The best way is to dive and search for it.  Alternatively you can try and use a strong magnet to try and "Fish" it from the surface (but I am afraid that the chances to find it in that way are slim [you'll have to be at the exact point, drop the magnet exactly on the rodes]).
Best regards,
Love is the battery of life....

You could also try draging the bottom with another rod and reel r cain pole with a heavy weight and three point hook.. r just a large fresh water hook..

The two suggestions above sound like good solutions but if you aren´t good at scuba diving, maybe fishing for them would be best. You might need to use a potent flash light to help you look for them in the water.

you could try diving or fishing them out

try to use a strong magnet on a rope most reels have some type of steel componets on them

i have hand built cain rods in nead of resteration can any one help with inforation please

We have a 2 liter plastic soda bottle filled w/cement and 3 pieces of rebar bent like hooks that we use as an anchor.  We fished our rod and reel out of about 20ft of water by dragging the area we lost it in.  Good luck!!

"WE CAN'T FIX IT IF WE DON'T KNOW IT'S BROKE!"

Yep I think dragging the bottom with a good size treble hook should do the job!! If you know where it's at and there's no current!
