When I am fishing I like to use plugs. However, I have a lot of trouble keeping the plug's treble hooks from getting tangled up with other plugs and rods. What is the best way to place rods with plugs ...
Lots of times, I just put small rubber bands around the treble hooks and have a little piece of 1 pound monofilament running between each of the bands on each of the hooks, so when the fish hits and the bands come off, you still have the bands and nothing in the water will eat them.
There arw weedless treble hooks out there too. They have a tiny light weight spring that cradles the barbs so nothing but a fish would depress the springs and get hooked. Supposedly it will keep the hooks from picking up weeds. They also allow the fish to detect the hook and that is one fish you are never going to land.
Rocmike why do all of your aliases go to old questions and answers no one has been on in a long time? AP=Ladydarko does the same thing. Could it be you are the same poster? You have a sad lonely life.
