I have just begun working with pmc (precious metal clay). Yesterday i designed 3 pieces and would like to fire them in my new firefly kiln, (which has a pyrometer). This is what i need to know: i used pmc+, do i put them in the kiln, on the kiln shelf, turn on the kiln, i think the temp. Needs to get to 1650 for 10 minutes, once the temp. Gets to 1650, is it difficult to keep it at that temp.? I have never used the kiln before, i will read the directions, but if anyone has the experience in using this kiln, and working with pmc i would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks sandysayle
