The building that Fire Mountain was located in was not owned by Buffets, Inc. The lease was about to expire and the owners increased the lease rent by a significant amount of money. Since Buffets, Inc. has announced a second round of bankruptcy protection they have been trying to get out of buildings that are being leased. This came as a surprise to many people because the location made money and was gaining business with the closure of the Old Country Buffet that was located across the street. Old Country Buffet is also owned by Buffets, Inc. I really liked the Fire Mountain and thought it had decent food. For the price it was the best all you can eat around.
