How do I find hidden financial assets of my spouse prior to filing for divorce?

If you don't know where they are, they could be anywhere in the country, or maybe in a Swiss bank, or in the Bahamas.  And you would have to provide false documents (like a fake Power of Attorney) to get the bank to release information.

It's not easy.  Check property records at your county clerk's office to see if there's any real estate.  Bank accounts are tougher to track.  Start with your tax returns to see if there is interest income or stock sales reported in prior years.  Double check the history on your computer to see if there were any investment or bank sites accessed.  Also check "favorites" to see if anything was bookmarked.  Would be stupid to leave those behind, but it's worth a try.

Oh my, there wouldn't be a way anybody here could get that for you but I think you can ask your bank for a copy of the canceled check except there might be a charge for them to do it. Maybe just call your branch manager or talk to your personal banking representative?
