Much is still not known about Schizophrenia, but it is believed that it may be, at least partially, a genetic condition.  This does not guarantee that your fiancee will suffer from it, but it is a possibility, as it could be with any offspring he produces.  In many cases, a male will show signs during his young adult years. (trouble making simple decisions, difficulty in social situations, etc.)  It is suggested that he avoid mind or mood altering substances.
