Eat more, but healthy, and try a little weight lifting to build muscle.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Also, in addition to what Bonestructure has suggested, slow your pace down when walking; running; jogging.  Eat more carbs, but healthy carbs.  Eat apples instead of peaches for instance.  Find out which foods you like that are high in carbs and eat more of those.
