Feeling cold easily after surgery

My father, 73, had double knee replacement two months ago. He is off blood thinners now and only takes a pain pill on days of therapy. However, he gets cold easily now. Normally he is a furnace.  I think this can be common after surgery and with the use of blood thinners, but how long should this last?  Can this still be surgery or past blood thinner use?

My grandfather is having the same exact problem one month after his 2nd knee replacement and he was never cold-natured before. Did you ever find any answers to your father's same issue?

No, sorry, I did not. He seems to be better now, but he did go to Florida for the winter, which was 3 month after his surgery.  I supposed that helped!
