All Favorites are NOT!

There are duplicates on the favorites bar and items that I did not choose and/or put on the fav. bar.  I do not know how to add/subtract from the bar.  Would like to delete all and somehow start over.  There seems to be a ghost operating behind the screen.  Help!

I'm not sure what exactly the problem is. To delete a favorite right click on it and select delete.
