Fast Food

I eat a lot of fast food, two things in particular. BK breaded chicken sandwichs and double cheeseburgers. Love them. How does stress feel as far as the body? Meaning fidgety, restless, anxious, fatigue? Can this type of food make one feel this way? Please advise. Thanks!

Hi roselli, this type of food can make you feel lethargic and gain weight and fat..so in general should be minimized. Stress can make you gravitate toward food like this because it is "comfort" food and can appear to make you feel better although its not really good for you. Ideally, you should switch to healthier low fat options and add in excercise you enjoy during the day to reduce stress. You know you're stressed if you're fidgety, restless and fatigued but you need to address the emotional reason for your stress by figuring out what's bothering you and addressing it. If you are satisfied eating those foods I guess your stress can be remedied a little because of the feeling of satisfaction but the only problem is if you are in diet.  For sure this is not helpful to you, the oil and the benefits you can get from this food will ruin your diet. ^_^

Pretty bad idea to make fast food a main source of your diet. I eat it once in a while but find that when i stay away from fast food, it doesnt really appeal to me. After you change your eating habits to include whole, fresh, foods...fast food kind of starts to turn you off.  Hopefully this will happen for you. Its just not healthy over time. In the final analysis our bodies really do crave the good stuff and reward us with energy and health when we eat it. Too bad the crap foods are so heavily marketed and readily, cheaply, available. Makes you wonder if they are in it with the drug companies.
