Why do skeptics think it is impossible to fall in love at first sight? It can happen, if you find the right person at the right moment in time, it most definitely can happen.

Because there's always going to be skeptics-and for whatever their reasons for not believing it can happen, are reasons I for one will never know. I disagree with them on this one. I happen to believe it CAN happen. Maybe it doesn't happen often, or maybe it even happens close to never, or even once in a blue moon. The only thing I know, is I'm sure glad we didn't listen to the ones, who for 2 years told us-"It'll never last." Yes it did. And it does.

I agree with Pa's Gal (Mrs Kisses).   I think it might be very rare, but its NOT impossible.   

Just remember one thing:   when we do fall in love, we tend to be a bit irrational for a while (like "nothing else matters any more, as long as I can be with you").   So don't make any rash decisions without thinking about it and try to use good judgment even though "in love" can cloud judgment ... whether it comes all at once or comes more gradually.

Old saying is:   "Love can be blinding".

I fell in love with the love of my life the first moment I saw her. All I could think of was that this was the most beautiful women I had ever seen in my life. We may not be together anymore, but on and off we lasted 20 years. And I still love her as much today as I did then. And we're good friends, which is very important to me. No one can ever tell me that love at fierst sight doesn't exist, or that it doesn't last. When I die and go to meet my judgment, my thoughts will still turn to her.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

I think that love is a bond that is formed between people based on intimacy (both physical and mental). To say that you can form such a bond with a person the moment you lay eyes on them seems to me to be impossible. You can be attracted to a person at first sight,  you can be infatuated with them at first sight. And if you're lucky this can grow into true feelings of love. But to truly love a person the minute you see them? I don't think so.
