I know that there are groups online for alcohol and drug addicts but is there any groups or meetings for family members of those addicts?

Check into AlAnon or Narcanon. I'm sure they must have an online presence.

There absolutely are!!  Al-Anon is the best-known group, and there are many, many groups meeting on a continual basis on the web.  There are also many groups for addicts, called narc-anon.  Just google al-anon or narc-anon and you will find a plethora of such groups available at all times of the day or night.  There are also such groups meeting in person; just look in the phone book and call the number there, and the central office for that group will tell you of the meetings available in your area.  Frankly, I find that the in-person groups are more beneficial, and the -anon suffix means just that; that you are an anonymous member when you walk in the door, and that, since you only use your first name, no one will know who you are, unless you tell them.  After trying the on-line groups for a while, you may or may not decide that you want to try a face-to-face meeting; you'll find out that you're not alone in your problems.
