It depends on how much they like each other. It also depends on how many people will be there. I think if you've planned a large family get together it would be okay to combine the celebrations and cakes that way people don't have to work two parties into their schedule in a short time frame. If you aren't planning a party I think two small, seperate cakes would be better.
