I'm not a lawyer which is who this question need to be address to.  Check out Nolo.com its a self help site thats been around for ages based out of California.  My question to you...is one living in it, is it in foreclosure, are there instructions in the will to have it locked up, is it vacant and need to be locked up from vagrants?  Good luck to you.
