My 3 1/2 yr old great granddaughter has lived with us since birth. She has recently been removed from our home and I was wondering if she will forget us and all her surroundings because she is so young.

I can't remember being 3 years old, but I am 25 now. She will probably remember as she is in her younger years as a child but when she is older maybe not. Maybe you can send her pictures to keep and keep in touch and remind her about certain memories and maybe that will help her.

The very sad news are:  Yes she'll forget.  It is not because she stopped loving you or is not thankful, but because she is so young and she'll find her place in her "new world".  However, if you be in close touch with her she won't forget you !.
